Hi Daniel – Rest assured URE is equipped to handle new services on our system. Unfortunately, outages do occur beyond our control - trees down, car hitting poles, and most common birds and squirrels. Last night's outage was caused by a tree that fell on our line. Our first priority is to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. You can sign up for SmartHub (using ure.com) - it's the best way to report outages.
URE has plenty of power, tonight a tree came down on the line and the other night a car hit a pole.
