2 bedroom, 2 bathroom review below. [Update 9/28/22: Placing my bet that Village Green is about to sell the complex - which means 3 owners in 3 years. Price increase from 2021-2022 ($1130.00) to 2022-2023 ($1375.00) is an increase of over 20%. $1325 baseline, $35 pet fees, $15 for trash and "pest control" -- which is not controlled or maintained? Maybe had 1 person come in the last year for pest control, clearly they need the monthly fee for ?? (sarcasm). If they do this again next year, rent will be over $1650.00 for a 2 bed, 2 bath WAY under 1000 Sq ft?? Are you kidding me? The average rental increase in Columbus (the highest in Ohio) is 8.7%-10% and the National average is 7.5%. I hope whoever owns Village Green enjoys their well earned title of slumlord for that price gouging. Just had a group of 4 people come into my apartment, totally violate privacy by opening every door, closet, the dang fridge, looking through EVERYTHING including walking around the bedroom. Never had this happen at any apartment complex, especially unprompted by something like a maintenance request. Just a random 24 hour notice to enter the apartment with no reason listed. Last time this happened, it was sold within 6 months. Lets see how long it takes this time.] REVIEW: Biggest downside: Buildings are all numbered the same, with directional differences. Deliveries have been made to the wrong building multiple times since there are ZERO distinguishing features on the buildings. Someone else mentioned this, but you're definitely screwed if you have to call emergency services. PROS: - Maintenance is responsive and great customer service. - Staff are really friendly and willing to answer questions, very happy with their customer service. - Open kitchen/living area is great - Brand new construction is beautiful (but leaves a lot to be desired) - 2 bathrooms - Decent storage room in bedroom closets (tiny storage closets though) - Fitness center included in rent (limited equipment) - Outlets everywhere - High ceilings - Pet friendly CONS: - You can literally see light coming from the cracks in the doors, and a breeze in the winter. Spiders everywhere, since the doors aren't sealed well. - SPIDERS. If you're on the first floor, get ready for some decent size spiders. We are right next to Blendon Woods Park, it's inevitable. - There's 1 (yes, one) trash compactor for the whole complex, located on the corner of the property in the very back. Village Green has been taking much better care of the trash situation, but it would be great to have 2 per complex. - Stuck with AT&T for internet and tv, and clearly that's been a mess already with the new construction. - The master bathroom toilet was installed so crooked in such a cramped space, you can't sit on the toilet with a toilet paper roll in the holder. (Beyond fixing, its already been dealt with by maintenance and the solution is to just leave the TP off the holder) - Weirdly small Master bathroom next to a weirdly HUGE guest bathroom that has so much dead space. - Kitchen appliances are pretty cheap and plastic-y, but they do the job. - You get a solid 10-15 minutes of hot water or 1/2 a bathtub full, and then nothing. If you have multiple people in the apartment, you'll have to stagger showers. Forget about it if you do laundry and dishes on hot, though. - First floor seems ADA compliant on paper, but if I actually used a wheelchair this would not be a functional space.

IF YOU NEED EMS SQUAD YOU ARE SCREWED! Update: added more buildings yet no building numbers, only readable from one side at daytime and still no numbers in back of building. This place makes it clear they do not care if renters are safe. Very hard to locate for no reason. Pure greed. For 1400$ a month you can afford to add numbers, shame on you for your greed and lack of concern for renters. This is a slum lord place. You collect rent and ignore the fact that ems cannot locate you easly adding time to find anyone. Edit: the new company refuses to reply to messages. They made it clear they only want rent. Good luck calling 911 if you live alone

Awful communication. This is the first problem I've ever had with this place. Still waiting to be contacted about a problem i've been having since Monday. Obviously they are quicker at answering reviews online and in public than having a private conversation with a tenant so here I am. Dylan, thank you for being so respectful and polite! Apologizing profusely and being very efficient and quick with what needed to be done and offering to do more. Also, thank you for being so sweet with my puppy. Thank you!!

Call their office to find out
Hi, Elizabeth. We are not affiliated with Chip and Joanna.
It varies. Call the office.
I am not sure of the builder and I didn't notice any more buildings being built. They are very nice apartments and affordable rent.
Yes. The goal of luxary is to attact higher middle class people. Screw the poor in a way. If you cannot afford rent here your not the target renter. Its greed they want 1400 for a apt worth 800$.
