One of the nicer HP's I've stayed at. The staff are great, the rooms clean and the overall appearance of the hotel shows pride of ownership. I'll stay here next time I'm in town.

Very family and pet friendly atmosphere. The hotel is in the hub of West Des Moines activities. The staff were friendly and helpful. I brought a safety concern to the attention of the front desk. Cassie had it immediately addressed and restored. The full breakfast was stocked and had great options. I will definitely stay again when in the Des Moines area.

The customer service was good. The establishment was clean. The breakfast was boring but clean. Our heat didn’t kick in but we figured it out and Maitenance man checked in on us. Overall the hotel was great, HOWEVER when we checked I noticed we were over charged. The front desk couldn’t tell me why or what it was. Told me the GM would reach out to me Monday. After multiple calls to the GM and no return I was told “She is very busy, she has had many meetings this week. Too busy to return your call, she is however the only person that can fix this so I will have her call you.” I asked “can you make it THIS week?” As he sighs he proceeds to tell me the same spill about the GM being busy. I find in unacceptable, that they are insinuating that she is too busy to help the customers. I contact the customer service via chat. They don’t deal with accounting. Contact the 800 the chat agent provided me, she also doesn’t deal with bill. So, here I am still being passed around and around for a charge that no one knows why it’s on my bill OR how to fix it. The customer service representative over 800# offered to transfer me to the JC hotel that it happened. The establishment that is too busy to help me. It should not be this drawn out to figure out why I was over charged……. The establishment finally called back and said that the GM will remove the charge, it will take 5-10 days. But still no answer to what the charge was for. We will see if this TOO BUSY GM will follow through. WATCH YOUR BILLING STATEMENT!!! Make sure you are charged appropriately.
