The team at Ashbusters has been a pleasure to work with since day one. Not only did they go outside their service area just to give me a quote, but they also did it on short notice and during the spin-up of the busiest time of the year. Korey, the production manager personally came to my home (on a Saturday) to get eyes on the project and spent the next two hours talking with me and my family to make sure that we got the information that we needed. We scheduled an installation that very day and agreed on a price below our budget and he even got us into a bigger stove. On the day of the installation, the crew arrived early and was extremely courteous and easy to work with. Rob and Alden took extra time to answer my questions that I had about the stove and made sure I was informed every step of the way. Not only were they informative but they were very professional and mindful of my home while moving a very heavy wood stove in and out. From the roof work to the demo work through the finish of the installation Rob and Alden showed pride and attention to detail in their craft. Coming from someone who's been in the trades their whole life. I could say wholeheartedly these guys did an outstanding job. 11/10 stars for service and professionalism. Not only did I feel like I got my money's worth but I feel confident that we have the product support and knowledge of one of the best companies in this industry. Thank you again, Korey, Rob, and Alden for the outstanding service.

Joe was so thorough, and nice. I had a lot of questions, he explained everything for me and was patient. Joe gave me all the information I needed to to make the best decision regarding my homes chimney. He took pictures and gave me a full report with the estimated breakdown I asked for. Thanks Ashbuster!

Our new wood-burning fireplace install should have been a "Dream Come True". But after months of waiting for materials and around $10k later, we're left with more of a "meh" feeling months after project's close (installed May 2022). Lots of rough edges all about: gaps in the dry stack stonework (clearly showing the drywall underneath), mortar pouring out from behind top row stones, noticeable downward-slanting of the mantle, floor and ceiling trim that wasn't reinstalled, bent metal on the firebox itself (making installation of the glass doors a treat). I rectified some of the issues myself but should not have had to at this cost. Others we will just have to live with until we sell one day. Communications were responsive, which was something. You could do worse but shop around - you can probably do better.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standard 211 states that, “Chimneys, fireplaces, and vents shall be inspected at least once a year for soundness, freedom from deposits, and correct clearances. Whether you burn wood or fire logs, flammable particles are created and carried up with the smoke. These particles can settle along your chimney liner and cause a chimney fire, which can easily spread to other areas of your home through cracks in the liner. By scheduling regular cleanings, you’ll help ensure that dangerous levels of these flammable particles don’t build up on your chimney’s walls and lead to a dangerous chimney fire.
