Bring tape to tape down your tablecloth on to the picnic tables we always forget to do that and the wind is brisk there sometime so it helps to make sure you have stuff to hold everything down there is one charcoal grill for each Pavilion and it's right next to the kids playground with the restrooms they're very convenient plenty of room to set up a volleyball court kids can go hiking biking whatever you like bring your bicycles there's plenty of trails it's nice.

No Nate. You can't. It is a gravel walking trail and you could walk or ride a bicycle back there and get your cool photos. I'm hearing next year they are going to put down asphalt so it is a paved trail versus gravel

Nope not for swimming. I'm not sure if recommend it though, the water is kind of nasty. I think you can rent boats there if you're not bringing your own.

The water is getting cold. Once the ropes go out at the beach you're supposed to have a permit to swim after labor day or before memorial day. There is an open water permit which allows you to swim outside the ropes.

Dog are not allowed on the beach. Security will ask you to take your dog off the sand. Park employees will ask you to take your dog off the beach. There is an unofficial dog beach by the dog park. To the east of the real beach. Many dogs swim other places besides the beach with no trouble.
