UPDATE: The director and person who booked my event is now calling me difficult 😂 these people should not be in business. Extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and attention the owners & managers are paying to customers and their complaints. When i booked the venue, the website described the smaller room as the Norwood room which was complete with a working kitchen. Shortly after I booked, the website was updated and the room was renamed to the Greta Van Brut room which only had a warming kitchen - which does not include a range. This was never mentioned to me or brought to my attention. I had hired a caterer who was planning on cooking at the event which is why I booked this particular space. When we arrived, there was nobody there to greet us, the walkway was absolutely COVERED in leaves and they were even inside the room. There was two kitchens in the room and the caterer was extremely confused as to which was meant for use. It turns out that the warming kitchen was the only option. He was unable to cook 3/4th of the menu and I had no food for my event. We spoke to the owner that night and she told me contractually, there was nothing that could be done. This translated to “you paid less for the smaller room so you’re out of luck.” The baby shower going on next door was full of drunk guests and kids running around everywhere. The guests of the other party decided to have a photo shoot on top of my car without my permission and some girl and her girlfriend tried to fight my mother over a parking spot. There was nobody on site to oversee what was taking place or to assist with any issues. The next door parties music was so loud it could be heard in our room. I paid $750 for this venue and regret every sent that was spent. The owners ignored my emails and concerns when I emailed them the following morning because they know they updated the site well after I booked. I am extremely disappointed and regret trusting them with my event. Please do not waste your time or money here. I will be filing complaints with the city and the BBB

Booked the Gene Van Brunt room! Fabulously remodeled! WiFi, great space to hold events whether the events are simple or upscale. Love what they've done to the place. Easy to book. Quick response time from the very courteous staff.
