I ordered a fish sandwich. I tasted the fish after I placed tartar sauce on it and the batter and fish was raw. I told the waitress and the same piece of fish (with tartar sauce bread and the fixings lettuce and tomato) was returned to me after re-cooking it. It looked horrible! Because I was in good company and enjoyed my lunch buddy, I put the entire sandwich in the trash without further complaints.

We split a wonderful meatball hoagie with Saratoga chips and barbecue sauce that they make in the house. And then we had a large Gabbys pizza sauce is wonderful also made in house. The atmosphere is cozy and will be back to try something new. And our server was Morgan very pleasant and very informative on the menu.

Gabby’s has a wide variety of menu options beyond Italian. The fried cod is a personal favorite. The pizzas are excellent and the salads always super fresh. The only downside- servers are often MIA.

Can’t believe I haven’t been here before! Great food and service. Owner is very warm and came to check on us. Oh and the carrot cake is fantastic! I love the carrot cake at J Alexanders and this might rival it. I’d need to taste side by side for sure but I love supporting small businesses like Gabby’s so I’ll head here first for my carrot cake craving.
