What a great place to visit and to find some high quality products. I have never been disappointed with any of my purchases, and most times my expectations as high as they were, were exceeded. This is my number one place to find the best meat in MN. Staff is really friendly, and patient. They took the time to explain the answers to my questions in detail, and I left the store happily educated on the process they go through to bring such great meat to the public. Can't say enough good things about this business. Try some of their beef and you will understand why they get all these great reviews. I drive a long way to get there and it is totally worth it. They love veterans there as well.

After all these years of having our beef butchered we hit the jackpot with Odenthal Meats. Absolutely the very best butchers we have ever had. Hamburger was ground to perfection. Thanks so much for such great service.

Not Minnesota Nice. We have purchased meat from this place 3 different times since April 2020. Most of the items are good but the friendliness of employees is terrible. We live in Minnesota, in Scott County yet the employees gave my husband & I the feeling that we are not welcome in their store. A few days ago we had a older over-weight woman assist us, she grabbed 2 pork chops with her bare hand (no gloves or paper) & wrapped the chops up. My husband is a veteran & we asked if they were still offering the 10% discount, she said yes but she did not give us the discount. With the pandemic going on it was good to see the employees were finally wearing face masks but we are disgusted this woman did not wear gloves when handling raw meat. In order to receive friendly service you need to be recognized as a regular or something.

The store isn't big but they are well organized and have a logical layout. The staff was very quick boxing up 1/2 a cow. Check out their retail selection. They have an entire wall of the store that is a freezer full of frozen individual cuts of meat. They have a large selection of lunch meat. They are open till 6pm Monday through Friday and till 1pm on Saturday. Additionally they were able to pack a frozen half cow into boxes so well that it fit into the trunk of a Honda Accord.
