I wholeheartedly recommend Ortiz Funeral Home at 22 First Avenue. Santiago made this transition seemless. My grandmother passed away in 2019 and now my mom passed away July 3rd 2022 and Santiago and his staff were godsends through both processes. He was understanding, patient and kind. Thank you, Santiago for treating my loved ones with dignity.

My family use Ortiz for many family members. It’s the neighborhood funeral home. My Dad pass away so I went to Ortiz on 1 Ave BTWN 1st and 2nd street to make arrangements. Let say the cost was over 10 Grand without a plot. They would only accept Cash. No credit cards, checks ect.. I paid it. I Explained how I wanted the limos to drive thru my dad favorite hangout 3 minutes away and in addition they were supposed to pick up the flower from the front of his building where he live 3 minutes away. Instead the limos went straight to the cemetery. My mom was beside herself. I was upset. What BS this is why they take cash. I complained to the funeral home who gave me the number of head in charge who said thru a lady who answered the phone they will get back to me. After various calls I received no response. I’m forever sad over not getting what I envisioned how my father would of wanted his funeral. Thank You Ortiz. My uncle just passed I instructed my family to use the Funeral on 43 2 Ave Provanzano Lanza. How professional they are!!!
