Standing ovation!! 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽 Guarino - I tilt my hat to you! I’ve had the unfortunate luck of losing my Dad, Great Uncle, and recently my Grandmother. Guarino funeral home is the ONLY funeral home I have ever experienced such empathy, compassionate and loyalty—yes, I said LOYALTY!! From the first call to pick my grandmother up to the opening of the mausoleum- Guarino assured that everything ran smoothly. Walter, the make up artist OMG, I almost kissed his feet (no lie). My grandmother’s make up was the talk of the service! He did a phenomenal job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Jonathan and Steve you guys are the best!!! ***** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ******

The staff at Guarino was very personable, helpful, respectful and compassionate. They showed patience and was very accommodating.They were available to answer questions and offered support as needed. They connected us with a videographer to do live streaming (Chelios Films) and Keepsake Memories by Anthony Lynch who designed the program for my grandmother's funeral. Both did exceptional work, however, Charles & Taz of Chelios Films were very professional, empathetic and took heartfelt care in coordinating and streaming my grandmother's service. Despite the circumstances our experience working with Guarino Funeral Home, Inc was pleasant. My family felt supported and we are super grateful for their assistance in making my grandmother's send off beautiful and memorable.

Update on my previous review.... I received a call from Steven today 3/15/21. He spoke to me about sitiuation, apologized & rectified by ordering a planter basket to replace the one I had sent. Therefore 5 stars for Guarino furneral home. I truly appreciate you for rectifying the situation by sending my cousin a new plant basket as a remembrance souvenir of my Aunt Jeanne. Thank you so much!!!! The services they provided for my Dear Aunt Jeanne were great. However, I have one complaint. There were many flowers, plants and planter basket delivered to Guarino funeral home. The flowers all went to the cemetery for the burial. The plant and plant baskets were not at the cemetery for the the burial. Customarily the plants and plant baskets are given to the family member that made the arrangement to distrubute among family in remembrance of the love one that has passed on. Well, for some reason unknown to me that did not happen. My cousin did not get none of the plants or plant baskets. When my sister called about this she was told that the plants and plant baskets were sent to the burial site. So my sister checked at the burial site. None of the plants and plant baskets were at the site only the flowers were there. So, to this day, I do not know what happen to all the plants and plant baskets that were sent in honor of my Aunt. I could not attend the funeral services due to medical issues. So I really wanted my cousin to have the plant basket I sent as a remembrance souvenir. I have sent an email to Guarino Funeral Home asking them to investigate this situation. I have not received a return email or call about it yet. So, just an FYI if you send a plant or plant basket and you want the family to have it afterwards please make sure to let the family know otherwise your purchases just disappears and no one knows anything about it.
