I wish to thank the Wilkes-Barre City Police. Tonight my daughter and I attended an event at the FM Kirby Theatre. En route, I made an innocent traffic error and was stopped. After quickly checking my background, the officer kindly directed me to the safest parking location and directed us to our destination without delay instead of ticketing. This simple kindness made my daughter and I feel safe, protected and welcome in this aesthically pleasing city. It reminded me of the more honourable times of an era I thought long past. It also confirmed my daughter's upbringing to trust officers. Thank-you for all of that.

I must say that this police department has a young man that needs a raise... Pete was the officer on duty on December 4 between 2 an 4 am...He went out of his way to make sure I was safe an warm by bringing me some hot chocolate , water , an snack...please let this Young man know I really appreciate His service..Robert Corley..

When I drive by a cop on patrol or sitting in a parking lot watching the road... First I check my speed, then I smile that my "Protectors" are there if I need them. Thanks for being there.
