Best dang store in Medford! I hear they are also doing another store in Phoenix oregon. I used to be a janitor at the Blackbird back in the early seventies. I remember the owner telling me "work hard while you're young because when you get to be my age you won't want to do very much!". Now I am the age he was. And he was sure right!

I like the outdoors
This store isn’t fancy, but does have some quality merchandise. The two Tom’s at the gun counter are very helpful. I love their selection of Carhartt, Merrill, Danner and Keen boots. They have a great stock of great jeans also! Anyway, I would recommend this as a store to shop.

Went in here to rent a snowboard set up for the day. Was not aware that it was an Ace Hardware and a Cabela’s rolled into one. This place literally has anything you could ever want for the outdoors. The staff was super friendly and got me hooked up with my rentals within minutes. Told me some of the local tips on where to go for fresh pow. Highly recommend this place!

We rent hard shell kayaks. $40 for 24hrs. We have sit-in or sit-on available as well as a peddle-kayak. Hope that helps!
We do have a key counter. Depending on the type of key it can either be made sale day or a special order and appointment. Call and speak with an associate and they will be able to assist 😁
We have some upholstery product but we do not have an upholster that works for us any more.

Hi Diana, Blackbird does not rent climbing harnesses. During the summer we rent hard shell kayaks and paddle boards, and during the winter we rent snowshoes, x-country skis, downhill skis, snowboards and we also rent snow coats and pants for men, women and kids. Thanks!

We rent helmets but we do not rent goggles. We sell them though.
Hi Rachel, Blackbird is setting up to rent Hard Shell Kayaks. We have sit on or sit in as well as renting a Mako Pedal Kayak here soon. Its $40 for a 24hr rental.
Not sure if this is the same type of canopy you need but I bought a camo print 12x 12' pop up canopy for $80.00. It was on sale.

We rent the Atomic Live fit Boot which is ideal for people with wider feet. We also sell that same boot for men and women. The width is 102mm.
