I left work and drove over 45 minutes from Manhattan to get Rochdale library. I arrived 30 minutes before closing. I scanned my card and was assigned a computer. I tried signing into the computer and the system would not allowing me. I then spoke to one of the representative and she told me, “I can no longer login into to computer because they shut the computer system down.” I then explained my situation to the representative and told her all I need to do is print two documents. I also, asked her why would they shut the system down 30 minutes before closing. She said, “that has nothing to do with her and I should just come back tomorrow.” I then requested to speak to the manager Jasmine Harrison; who came and told me the system close down 15 mins before closing. I then told her I came here 30 minutes before and she told me, “sorry the system is already shut down.” Another representative Jermaine Dennie suddenly approached me being very rude and hostile telling me that’s how the system is and come back. I told him I’m not talking to him I’m talking to the manager and he continued on with his hostility; he gave the impression that he wanted to fight me. So, the manager Jasmine Harrison had to tell him go to the back. I understand that people do have bad days, but don’t take that energy to work with you and take it out on the consumer. I’ve been with queens library for over 10 years and I’ve never experienced poor service like this.

Contact library. Last I knew you had to visit main library in Jamaica for NYC ID card. Covid affect so much, it's best to contact library
For a NYC ID, you have to go to Central Library on Merrick Blvd/89th Ave.
You can log into your account on the Queens Library system using your library card and your pin at www.queenslibrary.org. Go to "my account", there you will navigate to the section where you have books checked out and choose renew.
Hello. This library is near to the E train. If you're on Jamaica Center train station (E and J train) you can transfer to bus Q111, Q113 or Q113. Then, get off on Guy R. Brewer and 137 Ave., and just walk a few blocks. The library is on 137 Ave. Q114 also will take you there. Hope this helps!
The library opens at 1pm today, go to the ALC section for TASC information.
