Very disappointed. First of all, just to put into perspective.. i just bought my new car. I am a college student and have never had a brand new car. So you can imagine how much i care for it. I arrive for my first ever car wash… and my car now has scratches on it… Its so sad and so crazy to me. Its literally a place just for a car wash. How could you not even get that correct… After seeing the scratches on my car i spoke to a manager.. very bad customer service from this manager. Very unhelpful and rude. I was just asking why this happened and for help with the issue. She went to flex on me saying shes been working there 20+ years and that pro football and basketball players go to her place all the time… lol okay? My car is still brand new and now scratched. . Just stay away from this place if you want to be treated with any kind of respect/ if you dont want your new car to get all scratched up…. It baffles me that they even have good reviews and so many customers. Beware.

Five Star car wash was quick and easy. They have a wash station at the beginning to be able to loosen up some of the grime on your car before going through. Decently priced service and the car wash did a good job getting that spring pollen off my car. Free vacuums also came in handy!

Good car wash, terrible service. I am moving away and try to cancel my monthly subscription in February. I called their customer service three times and the on-site location three times and left a message for a callback and no one will return my call. They continue to bill my card so I had to get a new card number to stop the charges. Unacceptable!

I have used this car wash several times and previously gave 3/5 stars. The wash itself is not great, as the car still has some marks and stains remaining. I visited yesterday for the first time since Tropic became Take 5, and it seems customer service has improved: excellent service from both the lady standing at the payment kiosk to the friendly young man directing the cars into the wash tunnel. I now rate it 4/5. Prices for a wash are simplified, but the kiosk does not specify exactly which services/products come with each option: 3 options for $8, $14, or $21. It appears Take 5 invested in new vacuum cleaner hoses. The vacuum hoses were always broken, missing suction pressure, or were missing the top part and handle, making it difficult to grasp and use.

They do not. You pull in, and there are big tubs of soapy water where the customer can scrub the dead bugs, and bird poop that the machine probably wouldn't get. Drive to the machine. Pay the box with cash or card. Pull into the drive thru wash, and pull out to the left when done to find the vacuum cleaners. And that is my usual $6 experience at Tropic.
It is $6. Included in all types of washes is access to cleaning mats (both rubber and carpeted) and use of the vacuums. This is the best place in Gainesville to wash your car.

Don't need an appointment but I'd avoid going around 5pm right after work--its super busy. Credit and debit cards are both accepted and yes you can wash your sequoia SUV there no problem.

No handheld wash no, really only the prewash brushes to wash tires and windows etc. Before going into the wash lane.
