I go to the dog park and it was same as always. Today they were filming Blue Bloods so that was interesting to watch.

Huge skatepark with all kinds of features and a world famous double set. The flow isn’t great, it’s hard to cruise around the whole park without someone getting in your way.

Fun fun fun! Skate park calling all skateboarders! Under the Manhattan bridge! A bit noisy but not intolerable due to busy train above head along with the crashing of the many skateboards!!! Inside seating but very limited so bring a chair! Bring a small cooler w drinks and snacks as there's no stores close by and U will definitely want a drink or a small snack! Not to far from the the water by the FDR so a nice breeze is constant! Go and enjoy a day outside just go prepared!Good transportation by major bus lines are trains! So pack up and go enjoy! Happy boarding!!!!!!

Yes, there are benches for parents/companion not skating.
It was yesterday
I had seen some BMX, in fact, if you look at my Les Coleman Skatepark photos, there's some bikes there, but very rarely. Mainly skateboarding.
I didn't see any hours posted. But we got there at 9 am and one of the locals said they stay until it gets to dark to see. There are not any lights on the skate park that I saw. Except for 2 or 3 lamp posts.
