Surprisingly cozy neighborhood theater, showing first run movies at budget theater prices. Concessions are relatively inexpensive (as far as movie theaters go, anyway), with a "small" (a.k.a. massive) bucket of popcorn running you $5 bucks; if you need more popcorn than that, you have a problem! The theater (there's only one!) was clean, spacious, and had a startlingly potent sound system. I wasn't expected to be as impressed as I was by the Roseway, but I can see it becoming a regular alternative to our favorite theater, Studio One, when its limited seating fills up, as it often does. Just be aware, showtimes are sparse, and it seems to operate sporadically, most often during the second half of the week (Wednesday+) and weekends, and generally with no more than two or three showings per day, and only one film at a time.

Best kept secret for movies near Hollywood district. Low movie prices with great popcorn and comfy chairs. Come see all your favorite movies close to home.

Hands down this is my favorite theater. The prices are amazingly affordable, the popcorn is really tasty, the theater itself is clean and offers Dolby ATMOS audio. It's a fantastic neighborhood spot, and the staff is always friendly.

Now. Yes. You can buy at the theater.
I'm sure they'd be fine with it. I've never observed a person with a blanket in the theater, but it's a pretty low-key place and I'm pretty sure it'd be allowed.
