Great service. I was stuck with a flat from traveling here from out of state. I always use Mavis and new my tires were under warranty. It was 3:30 on a Sunday and stopped in knowing the closed at 5. Mr. Frantzi greeted me warmly and I told him my dilemma. He informed me the only had 2 techs, there were a minimum of 4 cars to be serviced and I could wait but it would be a while. I guess he saw my face and he said he could give my tire air and I could come back the next morning. I said that would be great. I have to say the energy and interactions of Mr. Frantzi with all the waiting customers was fantastic. He engaged us all in a group conversation and 10 mins later he got a tech (Mr. Ian) to pull my car in the bay. Again, another great employee and this duo made me laugh and promised to have me on my way. 20 minutes later Mr. Ian pulls my car up and give me the screw that was in my tire. 30 minutes in total I was there, but I would have waited 3 hours because they were fun and the place was spotless. Also, I heard Mr. Frantzi explaining tire tread wear and cracks to another female customer. He did a great job of not “MANsplaining” and respecting her intelligence. Well done, Gentlemen. 👏🏾

DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!! It was one of the worst experiences of my life. The lack of communication is unbelievable. What was supposed to take a few hours ended up taking two weeks and I then again had to have it towed back because it was not fixed correctly. They admitted they let me bring it home knowing it was not fixed correctly, and then charged me more when I brought it back. Also, I originally dropped my car off at the Waltham location but apparently the location closed and they had it towed here without my knowledge or consent. They did not tell me it was closing so when I called them to see if my car was done it went to voicemail…..I had to call around to other Mavis locations to see if they knew where my car was. Again, communication across Mavis is extremely lacking, it is honestly baffling. Every time, without a doubt, when they said they would call back, they did not! Over three weeks! Every single time (we kept track) we had to call THEM back and ask for answers. We were in communication with the district manager for a short time until she stopped taking our calls the last week. Not until we called from a different number did she answer…. I can’t believe they still have a business with the way it is run. Overall it was a horrible, horrible experience. I will never go back and I’m urging others to do the same. Save yourself some time and frustration and go else where.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! I bought new snow tires from this store in December 2020. They put them on fine with apparently no issues. However: When I left the store, I realized they did not put my summer tires back in the car, and they had charged me for tire disposal (I did not request this as the summer tires only had 1 season on them. I called and went back to pick up the tires, and we put them in the car, no issue. I took them home and stored them in my basement until today. I went to a different tire store to today to have the summer tires put back on, and three out of four summer tires had huge gashes in the sides of them (see photos). I called Mavis, and they will not take responsibility for anything. There is LITERALLY no other explanation for this. I picked up the tires, stored them in my basement, and then took them to another tire shop for mounting. There is no possible way anything like this could have happened in between. When I asked for an alternative explanation, Mavis had none. They simply said that it could not have been due to mounting so they will not do anything for me. With that, I urge you not to do business with these people. I can not stress this enough. Absolutely horrible. UPDATE: Since the owner decided to respond to my post (See Below), I wanted to let everyone know that I posted this AFTER contacting their customer service number. They connected me with the regional manager who then spoke with his boss and they still declined to do anything about this. Do not let their comment below make it seem like they care about their customers!!

The best tire place I been to by far. Chris at Mavis have excellent customer service. They have the best tire price in town. You can shop them last and you won’t be disappointed. That what I did. They just gained a loyal customer.
