Fantastic botanical garden with many features like Chihuly glass arts, and other sculptures, beautiful tropical plants and orchids, children’s garden area, cascading water falls, and many different seasonal flower displays, and many more features. A little pricey. But, it’s worthy it.

If you are curious you maybe want to see the Joro spiders here.

Visited here a few days ago for the first time, loved it the workers were very nice, wasn't very busy. And didn't have to pay for parking. It's a lovely smaller garden then the one in downtown Atlanta.

It is a great first date for Wine in the Woodland's night or concerts. Or just to walk through the garden after lunch or before dinner.
Not allowed, I think it's too easy for kids to ride into the exhibits or pedestrians. There are miles of bike trails all around there, family friendly and easy.
Kemberly, no I'm sorry for the protection of the plants no wheeled vehicles are permitted inside the garden. The garden also is still quite small so bicycle riding would impede foot traffic.
Sure. If you like to be outdoors it's great. It's peaceful and beautiful, walking the garden would allow you to chat on your date as opposed to a movie where you can't get to know each other. Contrary to the other response we do not allow picnics to be brought into the garden.
Yes, we have two wheelchairs free to use, first come first served. We also have one power scooter that can be rented for $ 10.00 plus tax.
Anyone 12 and up are $10 plus tax. Children Age 3 to 12 are $8 plus tax. Children under 3 are free
Our rates increased on January 1st. $10 plus tax for anyone over 12 children 3 to 12 or $8 plus tax and children under 3 are free
We will likely not have a Christmas light display on the level of our Atlanta location's. We do hope to have holiday luminaries at some point in the not-too-distant future. For now we have our Holiday Tree Trail for the month of December which is about 20 decorated trees nestled into the Garden path.

Kimberly, the 15 minute timed ticket is window allows us to both allow guests to socially distance at check in and keep the total garden capacity low to allow guests to enjoy the garden with plenty of "elbow room". You may stay as long as you wish, up until closing, once you have entered.
$8 per adult
Katie, Thank you for your question. The main garden in Gainesville is just over a half mile in distance with many benches and rock seating walls to stop on. We do have 2 wheelchairs free for use and one power scooter that rents for $10.00 plus tax. Your grandmother is welcome to bring her walker as well. Since the main garden is still small, it is very manageable for most seniors. We look forward to your visit.
James, we do not have indoor gardens in Gainesville. We are a non-profit. The garden has many species of butterflies in season. This time a year there are fewer but, some of the Monarchs are still present and many Cloudless Sulphurs. Volunteers maintain our train garden and I believe they are members of a North Georgia train enthusiasts group, they may be interested in your collection.
Thank you for your question Angiela. The Gainesville location does not have a conservatory or any indoor areas with tropical plants. Our first phase contains a main garden that is just over a half mile walking distance and 3 wooded hiking trails that total 1.3 miles. We do have tropical in our seasonal beds and pots from April to the end of October.
No, bikes cannog be ridden inside the park or on thr trails.
Concert parking is usually at Lakeview Academy and shuttle buses transport patrons to venue.
No
Algerian Iris, Daffodil, winterhazel, paperbush, flowering crabapple, desert rose
It is always beautiful but will be even better ad spring approaches.
