It was gated so you couldn't actually see anything. Such a shame. I suppose I understand if they can't afford to keep someone nearby to monitor guests, but it would have been nice to experience it. Oh well.

Beautiful painted church. Quiet country setting and gorgeous inside. A wonderful piece of Texas history. I especially liked the poster honoring the congregants that served in the military.

Real pretty church. We had heard about the painted churches in the area but had never stopped to visit them. This is a must stop, for those interested in getting a view of Texas

The narthex (entrance) if the church us always accessible and from which you can view the entire church. You must go on a tour or make arrangements with the parish office to have the iron gates unlocked. Vandalism forced the parish to make this compromise. The church is at its best on Sundays at 9:00am when it is alive with worshipers. You are always welcome in Dubina!
