Great food. Great server. Great drinks. (Okay, my husband had one that was horrific. It had "shrub" in the list of ingredients. Stay away from that! But our waitress quickly bright him a different drink that he *did* like and I really, really liked mine. It had lavender in the name.) Great atmosphere. Lots of antiques and unusual decor inside. The town of Round Top and the little collection of nearby boutique shops are artsy and fun.

First, the positive - great humor in our waitress, when she was at our table not the helpers who were clueless to our orders. Sat with a wonderful view of the breathtaking big tree through filthy windows. Area around the table was filthy, dead insects, grime. I don’t think they clean well. They willingly accommodated switching my order from grilled chicken to salmon on the Asian salad which was a pile of Napa cabbage, no purple cabbage, cilantro, carrots or peanuts. Desserts were awesome. I’ve been there many times. They need to shut down or step it up.

Really good food. Service wasn't very good, but I know there's a shortage of workers, so maybe it will improve. For example, my coke was almost gone before food came (it was mostly ice). He didn't refill until I asked & it took so long, it came right before the check. Also, fries were barely warm. The 4th star is for eating outside under the gorgeous oak tree.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a few tables on the front patio but many more tables on the back patio. Service could be better, but I was here during antique week, so they were likely overwhelmed. I got the grilled cheese which was decent. The house made fruit chutney and Dijon mustard come on the side.
