What a waste of time!! I jumped through hoops just to try and get some assistance only to be led on and allowed to get deeper in a hole. I know they don't owe anyone anything but why wait a whole month and a half to say y'all are broke, too? You need a new person in charge of finance.

I don't understand why they say they can't help with no respect and the gov is buying carpets and other stuff when Oklahomans are in need is really sad and I hope the people that work here actually tries to help instead of down people have a blessed day.

Mary, a worker who works there for community action seems lost in how to actually do her job and skeptical about who comes in and ask for assistance. We have seen people come in for assistance and so far they have been asked to come back or told they can’t be helped. She ask unnecessary questions and makes you uncomfortable over all

Their entire staff needs to be fired because they are dishonest individuals all of them including Mary. If you don't like your line of work then quit your job don't punish yourself by doing something you don't love. Don't disrespect people when they are in need and you wont get disrespected to the point where the entire staff starts making things up and lying on you to cover there bad behavior. When someone calls caac its because they need assistance they don't need to be reminded of that. If i could give this establishment an negative star i would because they are the worst types of people to be in this line of work( helping people) the type that would kick you while you're down and say you tripped be careful out there guys because treacherous people are becoming the norm and are infecting every corner of the corporate world. They will lie on you and they lie to there district managers so i know they don't respect there job so why don't they just quit? Oh that's right because if they did then they be needing the same assistance that they're supposed to be providing. You aren't better then anyone and most of yall are a complaint away from being fire then will see who needs assistance.

I'm sorry that has happened. Our phone lines are currently up and working.
We currently have funds to assist with rent & utility payments if you can show a loss of income due to COVID-19.
That is not a service we can provide, but we can refer you to a plumber who might be able to help.
Yes
I don't believe that this is something they can assist with but you can call and ask for Home Repair or their Weatherization Program to see if that is something they can assist you with.
Yes! 💛
Community Action Agency would a good start for your grandson, they a fantastic group that has that has skills and the ability to help your grandson to concentrate to be more comfortable with other's. The headstart program is wonderful, so I hope that you and grandsons have a wonderful enrollment. Thanks for asking 😊
Yes
What do you mean, rats?
Yes
We currently have funds to assist with rent if there is a loss of income due to COVID-19.
I would just look it up on Google put in tree surgeon or a landscaper and I'm sure they'd do it. If not tho or they're too expensive then I can probably do it depending on where you're located. My name's Kenneth Reeves if you'd like for me to do it my numbers 405-746-0763
No we don't sorry for any inconvenience
You can apply for the Home Repair program. You do have to meet requirements based off income, be the homeowner but also live in the OKC funding area in order to qualify. They also have a pretty extensive waiting list. Call Monday because they are closed today 7/5/19 ask for Home Repair, they will be able to see if you are in their area.
No they don't. If you need food stamps then you need to go by your local DHS office and apply
The staff is awesome. They help with many different things. I received free tax filing assistance. Everything is income based. The earlier in the day you go, the better. They have a limited amount of slots available per day. They fill up fast. But, it's worth it if you can get the help you need.
Where do you live?
Tuesday thru Thursday, starting at 8am but definitely show up early, there's usually a line formed outside before 8. I believe they take a limited amount of people per day.
Please contact our Community Services Department at (405)232-0199 x 2301 for more information.
Don't waste your time on FB. Call the police.
I don't think so, you can call the office.
Unfortunately they don't but you may check with Homeless Alliance at 405-415-8410.
As far as i know they do not assist with cut offs but call them and talk to their Community Services department and they will be able to tell you for sure.
You didnt indicate what type of help you were needing .However if you need someone to do labor, check with 'car care clinic' in edmond ok. Dont have their phone no. In front of me but look it up on internet and a nice guy named Larry Smiley can tell you all a out how they work .you have to buy parts and get auto to their shop.Good luck
I don't believe so but call and check with their Home Repair program.
Yes they do. Call them and ask for an application. They can mail it to you if you are in the area they serve.
I can't help much because my wife works there and I'm just the chauffer, but she said to call 405-232-0199 and ask for personnel and they can either answer your questions, or connect you to someone who can.
They don't answer the number listed I'd like to know the same thing.
