I paid $147 for a wedding hair trial with Sarah, and she did a wonderful perm for me last year, and good haircuts so far, but apparently doesn't know how to use bobby pins correctly for a half-up do. 6-7 bobby pins fell out within 3 hours, and the only physical activity I did was practice the wedding dance. All of the twists on the right side of my head completely came undone and was flopping around, even though there was so much hairspray on it that it felt like glue. When I called later that day to report what happened, no one answered so I left a voicemail, but I never got a call back. I called back again today (a couple weeks later), because I'm getting anxious about it, and an extremely rude woman exclaimed that of course my hair isn't going to withstand dancing. I told her it was the wedding dance that I will have to do on the day of my wedding, and she then made the excuse that they purposefully don't put the bobby pins in as securely for a trial run as they do for the day of the wedding because it's assumed I would take it out at home. I would argue that the point of a trial is to make sure I like the style and test how secure it is to be sure that it will withstand the day of the wedding. She then suggested that I do another hair trial which she would have to charge me full price for. Another $147. That's ridiculous, is it too much to ask for a wedding hairstyle that doesn't come apart, without having to book and pay for another trial?! She then said the only thing she can guarantee is that the owner would make sure the bobby pins are done right on the day of the wedding. How can I trust that when I couldn't even trust the trial? I'm not coming back.

How much for men's or women's haircut? When is this place not busy?

Ethan Lee | Oct 21, 2019
William Butler | Oct 21, 2019

Men's cuts can be as low as 25-30 bucks (plus tip) but that includes a wash and better styling than you are ever going to get from a strip mall salon I'd recommend making an appointment; if you can afford waiting a week or so you can likely get any time you want!

I don't see why not. You can burn clients with 30 volume and work here. Avoid this place. Terrible people.
