A little while after my car got towed (100% my fault, not relevant to the review…) I managed to get it back. Every agency, business, or organization I had to deal with for this was unapologetically difficult at best, or rude and almost sadistic at worst. after finally being informed that my license plate had been almost purposely misplaced by the tow company, I set out to get a new one. I bothered Red Cap with about 6 different calls inquiring after minute details, and was received with patience and politeness each time. I completed what I could online, called Red Cap once more to ask them to hold my plate for pickup (instead of mailing it out), then made my way to the location expecting an hour or more wait followed by a list of requirements I was not told over the phone meaning at least one more trip to the tag agency on the next business day… Even though it was extremely busy, my number was called within ten minutes. I told the clerk what I needed, then they took my ID, examined it, and swiftly handed over a brand new license plate and registration. I stood there a moment, still in shock, waiting for the other shoe to drop - but they just wished me a nice day and that was it. How is it possible that the tag agency was the easiest part of my day?

Would give less if possible. All i did was call just to inquiry about how much is it to renew a license, i just looked on the review some bad some good. There was 1 about horrible service unfriendly people and thats exactly what i got. Its so sad to know people are in customer service but have no service skills. I only wish i got a name cause her name would be all over this review. &they ONLY accept walk ins on Wednesdays...very inconvenient. I hope this goes to the manager or something. Morning staff not morning people!!!

Great place to get your ID renewed. Showed up for walk in Wednesday and was taken care of. The staff are highly efficient.

Hello Liam! Due to the pricing being different for every vehicle purchase, we suggest you call for an estimate or stop by. 405-942-3134
I'm sorry, we don't.
We only take appointment s. But if you call in the morning, we might have some cancellations.
Yes, we do have a postal unit. We can’t do everything that a post office does but we sell stamps and you can mail packages.
He will have to start at the Department of Public Safety, with his birth certificate and social security card. He can not start here at the tag agency, DPS has to create him a record for Oklahoma. After he goes to DPS they will send him to a tag agency.
Yes drivers li or state ld take bc or some kind id
Laporsha is correct! ID replacement is $25.
You will need to bring your birth certificate along with marriage license, if you have gotten married
An eight year renewal is $77.00
You need to bring your birth certificate or passport, your social security number and two proofs of your residency, that could be utility bills, car registration or title. Something with your name and address. It’s the same price as a regular license, $38.50 for a 4 year or $77 for an 8 year.
If you are renewing your regular license, you can bring it in. The real ID license is the one that you need to bring in your birth certificate or passport, social security number and two proofs of your residency.
We take walk ins until 4, Monday - Friday
You can walk in.
yes
Yes, you can get it here. It’s $25 and you have to take a new picture.
I went there last week. You don't need an appointment, but it's so much faster and easier if you do. Anyone with an appointment is taken care of before walk-ins, so I would highly recommend it!
Yes, but you won't be able to vote today. You must register 2 weeks before an election.
If you have had an Oklahoma ID, you can walk-in before 4 every day. If you haven't, you must go to DPS first with a birth certificate and one other form of ID, like a social security card. If you walk-in at DPS, you have to get there very early. Appointments are hard to get because they only book 2 months out.
3-4 weeks is the expected time.
You need to talk with the tax commission to find out how many days and start a title 42. That is a long process. We have to have those papers from OTC before we can issue a title.
As stated above, they do walk-ins, but only before 4pm after that, you'll need an appointment.
No, we don’t.
I also did not have my birth certificate. I actually requested one from my state of birth online. It was very easy and affordable.
Yes, Daniel is correct. Every Monday we open up appointments. You can book them online through our Facebook page or call early in the day. All the times are booked by noon.
red-cap-tag-agency.square.site
You can on the department of public safety's website. It does take at least 30 days to get your license. We have had numerous calls saying that some haven't received their license. You can call or come by when we open to get an appointment for the following week.
Yes. There is an up charge of $2.00 and 2.25%
No, but you can renew it online at redcaptagagency.com. Then we would mail it to you.
Yes, it is.
Yes! This can be done at any other tag agency.
Yes, you can get his mvr with his driver license number, (a picture of his license),and date of birth. It will cost $25.
Hi. You don't have to bring anything but your old license.
yes, if you have already applied at dps. If you haven't, you must go to dps first. If you have to renew or replace, you can get a new ID here.
It depends on how long it was expired. Less than a year and we can do it. More than a year and you’ll have to go to DPS.
yes, but the state adds $2.00 and 2.25% fee to the total.
Yes, we do as long as it's not a commercial dl. Then you have to go to dps first. Thanks Seth!
Yes, you can go to the dps on I240 and Shields. Take a birth certificate and one other form of ID. If you get online an make an appointment, it is much quicker. www.ok.gov/dps/exam/scheduler
Good morning. We need your tag # to give you an accurate quote. Thanks!
You will need to start at the Department of Public Safety locates off I-240 and Sheilds. With your out of state license and your social security card. Then from there you can come to us and get it printed off. Yes you do need a drivers license to change your truck over.
To renew the cost is $ 38.50 you only need to bring your expired license.
We would need the vin and purchase price of the car. Then we could get you a good estimate.
If it's a regular driver license, it is $38.50.
Good morning. You will need to bring in your Alabama title or registration, Oklahoma insurance, driver license and the vehicle. If you’re making payments on it, we will need your lien holder information.
I am sorry if this is way late. I just received it today. Yes, you can get duplicates. A duplicate registration is $2.
yes
There's not a penalty on driver license. If is less than a year, you do not have to bring ant other paperwork. If it's been over a year, you would have to bring your birth certificate.
If it's in your name with no liens, it should be $54.
