coyotes are native to north america, they were first "discovered" by lewis and clarke around 1804 but they have been around for a long time prior to that time
Dogs In Parks (Claude Moore Park website) Dogs are generally allowed in parks while on a physical leash and under the control of the owner (ordinance 612.13), however, per county ordinance 1092.21, there are certain areas within parks that dogs are prohibited.
