I make time to eat at Jerusalem even though I have moved out of the area and it’s a bit of a drive for me now. The food is that good! We have also had them cater several occasions for us. They do a great job and have lots of vegetarian options, which is important to me. Love them!

This was an initial visit to the restaurant. It is located on a busy street. I anticipated parking would be a problem here. It was not a problem. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant. The decor reflected the theme of the restaurant. I was not sure what to expect. My assumption was that it may be like a Greek restaurant. There were some similarities but still different. On this occasion, I ordered Lentil Soup. It was served very hot and it was delicious. I also ordered a Chicken Shawarma sandwich. I have not been a real adventurous eater but this sounded good. Our server, Sana, explained what it was and what was in it. That was what I ordered and I did not regret it. The sandwich was wrapped in pita bread with lettuce, onion, tomato, tumeric and a garlic sauce. It was different and it was delicious. My thanks to Sana for her explanation and accurate description of the sandwich. I also had a sauvignon blanc wine from Lebanon. My first taste of Lebanese wine was a treat. It was light, refreshing, with a citrus flavor. There was no bitter taste. The wine and the sandwich were an excellent experience. My dining companion ordered salmon fillet with couscous. It was tasty and cooked exactly as ordered. He also finished the couscous with gusto so it was apparently very good. The pita bread was outstanding. It was fresh, good flavor, and cooked to perfection. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. She explained several questions we had about the menu and enjoyed a brief conversation with her after the conclusion of our meal as she wanted to ensure we were satisfied with our choices. We appreciated the attention and attention to detail and she made the experience even more enjoyable. We were too full to order dessert but the options on display at the front of the restaurant looked delicious and well worth trying for those who still have the ability to eat more after a delicious meal.

They do not have hookah.
Prices are normal for the area. $15-28 per entree depending on what you order. Big tables, lots of space. Good food.... Great for kids IF they eat middle eastern food. If they are a PB&J, Mac & Cheese, and chicken nuggets only type.... then maybe not.
yes yes
I think it not that bad restaurant. I went there about a month ago and the food was just fine.
