Going to the building doesn't really help, although security is very nice. You're better off calling 311 or emailing, especially if you're having trouble reaching your caseworker. Also be persistent and straight-forward. PS, calling the building # is tantamount to pointless.

They NEVER answer the phone when needed and take FOREVER to assign you caseworkers or taking care of paperwork. It’s sad. Honestly.

They literally never answer the phone and when they do they’ll transfer you to another department and you’ll be on hold for an extra 30 minutes to an hr just to try to get your question answered or situation resolved. I do understand they’re busy but there’s no way people call 5x throughout the day and still can’t get the help they need.

Yes they are and especially on Marshall Street because social service is the main branch office and they take so long all day long doing nothing
