When I have an emergency as being in terrible pain, and I have a primary doctor at this practice, I should not be told there are no appointments available! I was coming down with shingles on my ear and needed to be diagnosed and treated immediately (within seventy-two hours), and not be told to go to the clinic at Fair Oaks Hospital! I found another doctor's office that prescribed medication and needless to say, NEVER went back to Town Center Family Medicine!

Every post is exactly correct ! Their front desk / phone reception is a joke ! On hold for 20 min , never got a human the entire time , then they disconnect me. Just for me to call back and waited another 10m. Won’t ever try again.

Customer service.is awful and doctors are always late. Front desk attendants never answer the phone.

I want to like this office because the physicians seem great, but not worth the painfully long hold times when you call and not being able to see a doctor “for weeks” when I called due to not feeling well (even earliest virtual appointment is in 2 days). It seems like the practice has taken on most patients than they can handle. I recommend going elsewhere.

I had the same problem. Called to cancel my appointment and no one answered the phone. And then, they told me I should pay a no show fee. I could not cancel the appointment because no one answered the phone!!! Are you kidding me!!!
This used to be a well run practice, but their current office staff, especially since the INova takeover, have greatly harmed them... put bluntly, they have become rude and incompetent. On the up side, their medical personnel are still top notch, they just need to replace key office staff, starting with their office manager! 2022 update: problems solved.
The INova web site is unusable. It is poorly organized and opaque... a giant step backwards from when they were with Privia!
Yes, they are overwhelmed due to issues rolling over to the INOVA systems. Just keep trying, eventually you'll get through.
Their conversion to INova has brought many negative changes... I long for the days when their office was well run under Privia. 2022 update: all better now

Yes, under 10 min in mid-afternoon on multiple occasions over the past 2 months. Their call load under covid is way up... and each call is taking longer once it reaches a human.
Yes, submit your request on the MyChart app or website and ask them to call you if the request can't be answered in a reply message. There are times when they simply don't answer the phones.
Since Inova group gobbled them up, the only way is to reach on Inova MyChart site, by sending a message to provider. Hope that helps
