We’ve used this vet multiple times for emergencies. Many people don’t understand they are an emergency vet, and animal emergencies are at an all time high right now, so yeah, you may wait a long time. On 8/20, my 14 year old dog was struggling and we knew it was her time to cross the bridge. We went in around 4 AM and everyone was so wonderful. My husband and I were distraught and the staff did everything they could to comfort us during this horrible time. The vet explained the process of what would happen, which put me at ease since this was the first time I was experiencing this. They allowed us all the time we wanted and did not rush us. When we received her ashes back, they were beyond nice that day as well (about a week later) when I was wailing in their lobby area. They also sent us a condolence card directly to our house. It was all very thoughtful. I would recommend this vet to anyone. We’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences here and we are grateful they are so close by!

Our little Lady Callie had stopped eating and drinking over the weekend. Earliest our vet could get us in was a Wednesday so we decided to take her to Eastern PA Veterinary Hospital. While she was unfortunately too sick to save, the staff and doctor were an incredibly comforting combination of clinical and compassionate. They even reached out to our vet on our behalf to cancel our appointment after she passed so we didn’t have to. Many, many thanks to the vets, nurses and front end staff for making such a painful night just ever so easier.

I’ve never had to use emergency vet services but unfortunately had to tonight as my cat was having some breathing issues. We are new to the area so we googled a few and found this one that was very close to home. I called before bringing my boy in and the receptionist on the phone was very calm and sweet. She told me to head over and she would have a nurse come right out to check on him. Within minutes of getting there a sweet nurse came out to get Benny’s history/chief complaint. I was concerned for a urinary blockage but once she took him in the back within probably less than 10 mins she came out and assured me he didn’t have a blockage and took me to the exam room to see the doctor. Everyone was so helpful. It was discovered that my Benny was having some sort of asthmatic issue. They confirmed with X-rays, a treatment plan was in place and we were on our way out with within an hour and a half. I can’t thank everyone enough for taking care of my sweet boy. We will absolutely use their services again should we need them! And for an emergency vet hospital, I paid less than I had imagined. Very reasonable pricing for the care they give.

A call beforehand is always a good idea, occasionally if they're completely swamped they'll close incoming for a few hours. Other than that, works just like a human ER, more critical cases get seen first, stable animals are seen in the order they arrive.
Yes
Hi Jose, we do not perform this procedure for routine cosmetic reasons.
