Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Eh, this is definitely not one of the better locations. They don’t allow you to sample and they gave me a gelati with MAYBE one teaspoon of custard on the bottom( didn’t even cover the bottom of the cup). This location is 15 minutes away from my home but I’d rather drive 35 minutes to a Virgina location. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

I do not recommend this Rita’s at all. They are very stingy with their ice cream and toppings. I asked for a large size and they filled the cup barely half way. When I asked for them to fill it up all the way they denied, I even said I would pay for it and they still denied. The service here is just horrible. I’ve been to many Rita’s and never experienced this ongoing problem. I went again today because I was craving ice cream and didn’t want to go out of my way to another one and although the website says it was open, the store was closed. Don’t make my mistake, if you want Rita’s ice cream I highly recommend the one on Muncaster Mill Rd. I’m very disappointed with this service.

I am so disappointed with my service today. One person on the register, one taking orders, line down the sidewalk. Then, when I asked for two flavors of custard top and bottom, I was rudely told they don’t do that. Last, they barely filled the cup for $5! See photo. Rita’s, how are you going to retain me as a customer? I’m curious to find out.
