Note: this was when the Post Office was at 900 Wayne Ave. Visited on 10/15/2014, to check on the postage I had applied to a large envelope. There were 3 people in line ahead of me. A postal employee walked back through the line, looking for people who could be helped with the self-service machines. He helped me verify my postage and then accepted my mail. Very helpful. Exemplary service. Nothing to complain about.

Full service post office with limited parking on Thayer street. I needed to mail a care package. I walked in and was greeted by someone who worked there who offered to create the shipping label for me using one of their self-service machine. Less than 5 minutes after waking in I was walking out. Great service! I’ll come back.

The post office is not moving to the 2nd floor. There is already a tenant in the 2nd floor. They will be moving to the 1st floor of the library building. Not sure when.
And here it is in April, with the post office still unmoved.
When are you all moving
Yes
It's still open
If they're not answering, then you're calling what they keep referring to as the "retail location" -I have no idea why they call it that, but it the number I see listed every time I get a pink 'we missed you' slip. You can call that number all day and night and they'll never answer, it will just keep ringing until it goes to a passworded voicemail box and then hangs up. Here's the kicker though, I've watched the regular post office dial the number, and they pick up within two rings -theyre actively ignoring anyone who isn't another post office (they'd get into trouble if they ignored another post office). They've put so much effort into being lazy, that they've memorized all of the phone numbers that they'll get into immediate trouble for ignoring.
If not, CVS takes them for $13
