Canton Games is a wonderful game shop with a fun and welcoming gaming community. As a newcomer to Baltimore and table top games, I am incredibly thankful to Dan, Steph, Lindsey, and the gaming family they support. Overall the store has a nice selection of games, books, cards, and accessories. However, for me the many weekly events and the people you will meet by frequenting the shop are what makes Canton Games special.

I've been coming here for years and always have a good time. Friday night Magic draws in a great crowd that's fun to play with, and talking to Dan makes finding a new game that fits with what I enjoy easy.

I first started coming to Canton Games 4 years ago to pick up the occasional board game and was always happy with their service. Over the last year, I've been coming by a lot more and have joined the super friendly Magic community there. Coming by for Friday Night Magic (and Commander, when I can) is something that I look forward to every week. I highly recommend checking out Canton Games, especially their prerelease events!

This is a board and card game shop not a video arcade.
We do host D&D games on Mondays and Thursdays every week. I believe the Thursday games are full, but you can inquire with the store on Monday availability, or if the shop will be adding more days.
Best advice I can give you is to walk into Canton Games and talk to Dan. I know they have a somewhat freeform Thursday night event, but Dan or one of the GMs can give you more details

Hello, Owner of Canton Games here! We're taking extra precautions against COVID, above what the government recommends. All events have been canceled until the vaccines are more readily available. Masks are required at all times inside the store (nose and mouth). We're only allowing one person (or small group of people that arrived together) in the shop at a time. There's hand sanitizer everywhere, and after a person leaves, anything they've touched gets sanitized. We're also offering curbside service - if it's more comfortable for you, we'll bring some games up to the front door and talk to you about them there, so you can still get the Friendly Local Game Store level of service without actually coming inside. We have a portable credit card machine that gets sanitized after every use that we could bring out to you.
Our inventory fluctuates, but I believe we still have some games for it. Give us a call (410 276 2640) or stop by!

Hi, Reggie. If you'd like to bring your cards by, we'd be glad to take a look at them. Unfortunately, most Pokemon cards did not retain their value, so with a few exceptions we generally don't pay for Pokemon. We specialize in buying Magic cards and older video games.
Not that I am aware of... However they do buy Magic cards as well as other games.
