Great no-frills camping. Quiet, only 5 sites, natural beauty alongside an offshoot of the Kissimmee River. The camp host, Ken, and his wife are helpful and unobtrusive. Will definitely be back again & again !

Very remote and wild. No facilities so be prepared. Great star gazing. Camping right on the Kissimmee River banks. My fault, I picked the first weekend for archery hunting so a lot of loud people on the weekend. 8 miles of cow pasture to drive through so the mud all over the truck is cow pies. Looking forward to returning after hunting season. Enjoy our public lands!!

Entrace to the WMA is via the River Ranch resort entrance. Then frist right immediately after the Tee-Pee rooms. Area is working land with cattle and honey bees. Town of Kicco campsite is nice and it is furthest from entrance. But because it allows RV and larger travel trailers you get big(er) crowds on the weekends. Due to the big crowds there is more of a mess from left behind gear and trash. Great dark nights with bright stars, and lots of wildlife.

Very quiet and peaceful place.. Some camping sites have a great shade but also are totally damaged by wild hogs. Make impossible to set a tent there. Others not too bad. River was great. Mosquitoes, wild turkeys, cows and gators
