I am so grateful to the Pumphrey family, especially Will. The staff at this funeral home are all patient, kind and attentive. They are non-judgmental and I have never once felt their services aren't worth the reasonable cost associated. They made a horrendous time more manageable and were remarkably responsive to our needs. We had an out of state funeral and they took care of things that never would have occurred to us. I'd love to think I'll never have a need for a funeral home again, but given the nature of life, I feel much more at peace knowing that in our family's darkest times, Pumphrey's will be there and help us through.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. At best k would describe them as Incompetent and callus. They gave us confusing and often conflicting information and truly made the worst week of my family’s life even worse. My late father’s doctor described their treatment of him as harassment as they were pressuring him to put a cause of death on death certificate before a cause of death was known. No one involved in the process had any idea what was going on. They never reached out about anything. Finally, the lady we were dealing with yelled at my bereaved mother. Stay the hell away.

The employees were kind and helpful. The place was nice. My only suggestion would be improving visibility of parking. My husband and I had to circle the place to find the parking lot.

My family and I had a calming and positive experience with Pumphrey Funeral Homes. During an obviously overwhelmingly difficult time, we felt that the team - specifically John - treated us with compassion, dignity and respect. They were communicative throughout our initial interaction and have remained so thereafter. They'd coordinated closely with an out-of-state funeral home to make very timely arrangements for the burial within 36 hours of their receiving the body. Wouldn't wish the pain of losing a loved one on anyone, but realize that this is part of life and wanted to share the positive experience that we had with Pumphrey.
