The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude! The docents inside the house weren’t much better, and they were not very knowledgeable. They seemed more interested in hurrying us through; we were done in less than 20 minutes. When asked questions about the artifacts, they either didn’t know the answer or pulled out a giant binder to rummage through—still not providing interesting context. The art museum and gardens were nice, but the rest of the experience was negative. Garden Tram driver Bob was the only redeeming factor of this trip; he was great!

Check their website or call.
We were there mid July, the exhibit was there. Interesting.
We spent at the least 1 hour. But we were really into the history of it all. And the garden tour is well worth the extra time .
2 days
No.
Yes. See if you have a guest pass ... You get them when you renew membership.
They are observing July 4th on the 5th, so yes they are open
There's the house tour, a neat display room of the use of color in decorative arts, and a display regarding HFDs wedding and its accouterments.
We go online with them for walking and call for tram tour reservations.
Try calling the location and ask to speak to an employee or manager to help you with those questions.
Call their main number and ask an employee or expert there 😉
If the guest has been given a guest/admissions pass, then no, the member does not need to be present when they redeem it.
Yes I believe so
Around a few hours if you have lunch in the cafe.
I don't think so. They do have a small garden shop near the Museum. Perhaps you could call.
No, you don't. However for very popular special exhibits, you should get them in advance
Yes. The cafeteria is at the visitors center, and you can pull up right next to the visitors center to let out a person with a walker/wheelchair/etc. There is a bit of a walk on a paved downhill path (no steps) from the regular parking lot to the visitors center, so when I bring my mom with her walker I always drop her off right at the visitors center. There is a bus that will take you from the visitors center to the mansion/museum. At the mansion/museum you can board a tram, which will take you for a nice long tour around the gardens. Hope this Helps!
No, tomorrow open back up again
A general admission ticket is $20 and is good for 2 consecutive days. It covers an Introductory House Tour, all exhibitions, access to the Galleries, and access to the garden.
Not sure what the official schedule is but we've never had to wait for one.
I'm not aware that they evaluate items from the public. I agree with previous responder; contact them.
