I grew up in Anne Arundel County, MD and thought they had a great library system until I got my Delaware Library Card. Newark Free Library has new books, music, movies, etc, and they get it to you from anywhere in the state! And fast!

The Newark Free Library does offer video games to borrow and many other non-traditional items in our Library of Things (LOT) collection. We continue to add more items to LOT and recommend checking our catalog frequently for updates. https://dlc.lib.de.us/client/en_US/default/search/results?te=&lm=LOT
I have searched in my portal online able to find it , you may call and check out for availability
I don't think so. There are donated books/DVDs/CDs on sale, and some duplicates from the library collections. But you can check up, maybe you're lucky.
Hi fury- yes, they do. Contact someone at the library- you can volunteer for Lego Night, and activities like that.
Printing is .50 for color and .15 for black & white per page. We also have a b&w copier for .15 per page.
I believe so. You just go to the information desk and they can give you a pass to use it or explain how it works
If you go to this website, it will explain the steps for obtaining an online library card: https://lib.de.us/librarycard/ Call the Newark Library if you need further assistance.
yes
Yes we have a movie for adults the first Friday of each month at 2pm and 6:30 pm. You can find the movies listed on our Calendar of Events on webpage nccde.org/newark. Watch this summer — we are planning even more movies as a special feature!
AARP Volunteers provide free tax preparation services at the Newark Free Library each Wednesday, beginning at 10am when the library opens. The only day for this is Wednesday. People seeking tax help gather outside the library early before we open to get in line. The AARP Volunteers usually help about 12-15 people on a Wednesday. In addition, the Newark Free Library does offer copies of the basic (1040) federal and state tax forms for free. Some area residents also seek tax preparation help at the nearby Hudson State Service Center, where the Nehemiah Gateway organization offers help Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday-Saturday.
Starting Wednesday February 5 at 10:00 a.m., first come first served, then every Wednesday same time until 2nd week of April. You should be there at 10 to get on the schedule, it's very popular.
Except this coming Monday. In observance of Columbus Day, the library will be closed. Any holiday that falls on a Monday, the library is closed.
Month ago they were pleased with my bag of paperback books
Yes they do. Check the library website calendar, stop in, or call. They have flyers at the front counter with current children's activities.
15 cents per copy in photocopier or printing from computer in black and white

Yes, there is a parking lot on the property. It's free.
Hi Ruth, it's not a real book.
15 cents a page for b&w, 50 cents a page for color. Cash only, no plastic.
You are going to have to actually go there and ask them or call them.
