We are happy with our home in VW. Most people in the community are very unhappy with the HOA and the Developer Malmberg. The Lawn service is terrible and the Developer has failed to start the clubhouse as promised. Street work is not completed as promised. The HOA is currently controlled by Malmberg the "Developer" and is unresponsive to Home Owners. They have been put on notice by Kent County for environmental issues, water run off problems and failure to respond. Malmberg is on there 3rd excavation company and work appears to be at a standstill.

The manager told them the clubhouse would be started in the fall. It seems like they just needed to get a sale in before the price drop. Is this common to do?
Local impact in Verona Woods for Firefly Festival or NASCAR weekends is minimal. On the roads there are alternate routes to get around locally avoiding the Raceway area. If you stand outside you can barely hear music or race car noise. Inside, you cannot hear any noise. We have been in Verona Woods for about 8 months now and have had no issues with feeling unsafe. Neighbors are very friendly. Very little traffic beyond residents enter the community. The construction workers are professional and courteous. We are very happy here. If you have more, let me know.
For what i know i do not know because i drive. I know the beach is 45 min. Away and the mall is 20 min. Away. Hope this helps some
