Beautiful room, very clean, the comfiest bed I have ever been in (I am very picky) all of the amenities you would ever need and the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. My fiancee and I were lucky enough to be able to book a room here last minute during the holidays. Our motel before this place was an absolute nightmare and walking into the docks motel was a breath of fresh air. This is the only place I will be staying in Townsend Tn. I would/will recommend this place to anybody.

Went on a "fly by the seat of my pants" trip to Cades Cove. Got there late, so we had to find a place to stay the night. I have to have special accomodations for my younger sister, whom has Downs Syndrome. Pulled in at Dock's Motel because it had cabins, as well. They were closed. I called the number. Sweet, sweet woman named, Karen answered the phone. I explained to her and within 10 minutes she was there to let us in. Our cabin had three beds and a loft bed in it as well. It was very clean. P l e n t y of coffee LOL. I highly recommend this place its very inexpensive, and most accommodating. Karen, is wonderful. Drop in and say hi. Thanks bunches Karen

Some cabins do but not all of them. They are all nice cabins though. We stay there quite often. Love it.
can check in after hours...when you have a reservation and tell them you are checking in late they will leave your cabin or room unlocked with a map of directions on the office storm door with your name on it that will point you to your place of stay
Sherma, the unit we stayed in had a double and a futon.
No they are not pet friendly. The last time I checked there was not a single hotel in Townsend that allowed that's over 30 lb
