Front desk staff was amazing, location is perfect, the view from the grassy area out front was breathtaking, and the 2 pools are both nice. My only criticism is the room was a little "shabby" for the price, but location wins out. Generally good stay.

This “resort” has a lot of potential but is in desperate need of some help. Our room (1202) was spacious with a very comfortable king size bed and clean bathroom. The toiletries in the bathroom, and the coffee pot and fridge in the room came in handy. Negatives: My largest gripe about this place was the lack of service and professionalism. Our bathroom was not stocked with toilet paper, we had one roll, and we ran out in the middle of the night. It wasn’t until then that we realized our room didn’t have a phone and that no one was there to help us. My husband was able to find an after hours number which ended up being the owners personal cell phone, from which he rejected our calls several times before answering. At that time my husband learned that no one would be there until around 8am (it was 4am) but that there was someone living on site who “may be able to help us if he was awake”. It would have been nice to know all of that at check in, it also would have been nice to have a fully stocked bathroom. Also, there is a photo of a continental breakfast on their website and there is even a breakfast area at the hotel but there was no continental breakfast served while we were there. Very misleading and we were disappointed by that. Also be prepared for unprofessional staff when staying here. The owner likes to talk about issues privy to his business with and around the guests and the girl at the front desk was there in what looked like pajamas the next morning. We likely won’t stay here again.

We stayed here this past weekend for the first time and loved it. It was a very quite place with a park like setting.. we stayed in the family suite and loved it. It had so much room for our family of 5 and the beds were comfortable. The room was also very clean we would definitely stay here again!!!!

I booked a King Suite w/ Jacuzzi. The room was GREAT! It was Very Clean, had a Wood Burning Fireplace, Private Balcony and Comfortable Bed. There was an Indoor Pool right outside of the room. The lodge's grounds were Beautiful and our suite had a wall of windows that overlooked Townsend. The rates were reasonable and offered several different room options. There are several restaurants and amenities close to the lodge. This is a Great location to stay if you don't want all of the "Crowding and Consumerism" in nearby tourist towns. The drive to Pigeon Forge takes you thru Wears Valley. This was a Beautiful drive and offered great stops along the way. Townsend, TN is a Beautiful place and the Tremont Lodge & Resort is a Great place to stay. Check out the local Annual Bigfoot Festival held each May!
