This facility used to be a munitions factory, today it's headquarters for National grid in New York. The reason I was there was to test some chemicals for waterproofing of the walls. Buildings were built extreme well and I enjoy working on older buildings.. the contract that it's doing work at this facility is outstanding

There's nothing "clean" or "transitional" about fracked gas, a.k.a. methane. Between the ground water pollution in all of the fracking wells they source from, the leaking of methane (a highly potent greenhouse gas) and radon in every step of the gas transportation pipeline, and all of the heavy fossil fuel use required for extraction, transportation, liquification, vaporization, and so on, National Grid's main product is inherently destructive to our ecosystem and society as a whole. Moreover, the projects National Grid has been railroading though our communities, like the excess North Brooklyn Pipeline, show blatant disrespect for all of us who live in their path. We need electrification, not commodification!
