Canyon Grill is always so consistent - the food is so fresh. I love that you can bring your own wine. They offer ice buckets and glasses. The wait staff are attentive and the location on Lookout mountain is such a pretty drive. If you haven't gone here yet, you are definitely missing out!!

Service was fine the low rating is entirely the fault of the kitchen and serving sizes. I ordered duck breast and my mother ordered red snapper I believe each was over 40 dollars. I was given one semiwarm medium-medium well duck breast. It wasn’t worth 20 dollars let alone 40. The skin was rubber and the care I expected from the price had not been taken to ensure crispy skin. For the price I expected an entire snapper but instead my mother received a 4ish oz filet that appeared to have been frozen at one point. The serving was tiny and both were absolutely mediocre but I’d still give three stars. What bothered me most was I was given broccoli when I paid for broccolini. Take broccolini off the menu if that’s not what your giving customers. Other dishes looked better the shrimp seemed like the way to go. Over all the food was a poor over priced experience. My friends and family were disappointed as they’ve enjoyed this place for years. I understand that times are tough after Covid but cutting corners will not make things better. Get it together.

I've eaten here twice when visiting family in the area. It's the nicest restaurant on Lookout Mountain. (Same owners as The Boathouse in Chattanooga who serves amazing seafood!) It's a treat to eat here because everything they serve is impeccable and top quality. The price is at a higher level, but truly worth every bite and the experience. The duck is extraordinary! Had chicken piccata this time. Probably the most tender chicken I've ever tasted. All their seafood is done to perfection as you prefer. The family had salmon, shrimp, and fried oysters. Nothing left on anyone's plate when you eat here. Mashed potatoes, fried okra, and salads are amongst our favorite sides. A MUST when you are in the area. You will need reservations for the main dining room, but there is the "Butterfly" room in the back that will take walk-ins when they aren't fully booked. In fact, we really loved the back room because it was quieter.

The service (waiter: Caleb) is amazing, and the food tastes GREAT. I ordered the Honey Almond Chicken and for dessert coconut cake. I was actually impressed with the food. Highly recommend. But... just a NOTE, they do NOT serve alcohol.
