The Clam House serves some of the best seafood I’ve had in the Sarasota/Palmetto/Bradenton area! I HIGHLY recommend ordering the fish of your choice (grouper is a great option) and ordering it the Clam House Style way. It’s battered in a wine and garlic sauce sautéed with tomatoes and spinach and boy oh boy, can you taste all of these ingredients to the max. It melts so wonderfully in your mouth. The redfish is also a great option. The sushi menu is awesome and presentation is beautiful. I ordered the Volcano Roll which is their spiciest roll but is not spicy AT ALL. However, when I return I will certainly order a fish of my choice and go that route for myself! The service was impeccable and extremely speedy. I wish I remembered our waitresses name. The outdoor seating ambience is perfect for any get together with family and friends.

Visited this GEM after passing by for 5 years without stopping in.. That was a HUGE mistake!! I am just completely blown away by the service, Maria was outstanding, friendly and helpful, then the food came out… We had sushi to start and if you are looking for fresh, delicious, may I say, best in the area sushi you cannot go wrong here. These monster rolls filled us up but we had to try the fish tacos and catch of the day platter. Just wow, is all we kept telling each other as we ate on. Best fish tacos we’ve had since moving here, manager stepped out to tell us the fish comes off the boat directly to him every day and let me tell you it shows. I was craving “fish n chips” which isn’t exactly on the menu but just order the catch of the day fried and you won’t be disappointed. Grouper for me with thick fries and hush puppies. Nothing was greasy cooked and flavored to perfection. Did I mention Maria? That girl was amazing, smile on her face and so happy to be helping us out. We loved her! Don’t wait people this place is going to be our new favorite. Kudos!

Excellent mix of sushi with some options similar to a Thai meal. The setting is like a beach bar, with two divisions, in the front it is more of a bar and a more relaxed and noisy atmosphere and in the back it is more familiar, although there is also a bar. The food is very rich with good varieties of fish cuts, and some really great innovative ideas including fried dough and sweet chili, always with a very careful presentation of the dish. The service is very cordial and the owner of the restaurant is usually involved in serving customers. Ideal to go with family or friends with a relaxed mood

We visited tonight, our first time since current owners took it over last year & remodeled. Prior visitors will recognize the excellent menu. Best of all, the food's great. My wife ordered Thai Crispy Fish (Hogfish). Me a sushi sampler plus clams steamed in cilantro, garlic, white wine butter sauce. Service was outstanding. And it's wonderful to see the owner very much on hand. We'll be back!
