Food was good, service was good. I was surprised they charged for chips and salsa that they bring to the table for you and for tomatoes if you want them for your chimichanga which should come with tomatoes. I asked for a Togo box and went to the bathroom and when I came back to the table the empty Togo box was on the table and my food was gone. The server was very nice though and replaced my chimichanga. Again, good food and menu at a fair price.

I lived in SoCal for 30 years and like to think I have had some of the best Mexican food there is. Since moving here to Manatee county there are many people offering Mexican food however I have longed to find GOOD Mexican food. Perhaps it is just that I am used to a certain region and would never experience the taste I longed for. Well I have found a restaurant I love! Not only do I love the food - I gave it the ultimate test - I ordered the Mole’. It is the best! Don’t hesitate to come here. Also they have Mariachi on Sunday !!!

Long time customer very disappointed(( This has been our go to Mexican restaurant for many years, however I am sad to say it will no longer be. For last year the service and quality have been declining. As always my wife had the steak and shrimp fajitas, the Tortillas are very small and they were hard, her rice and beans were cold, my tamale was hard also. The flavor of the salsa has also declined, I use to want to or a gallon of it, now it's like tomato onion water(( the service was the absolute pits, only 6 tables occupied and they acted like we were bothering them when we pointed out that one of the lady's fake nails had come off on our table when she brought the food, thankfully it wasn't in her food. Had to ask 3 times for my wife's iced tea, and they just rolled their eyes when told about the nail, and again with the tea. If this is under new management, they need to just close, if not then it needs new management and new waitresses, I am sad to say this is one of the few times in my life I had to give less than at least 20% tip

I was painting an office in this plaza over the last couple of weeks and stopped into this joint for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. Their chips and salsa were so good. I was very excited to find they had lengua (beef tongue) on the menu and it did not disappoint. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. And the tortillas?! I could have had a meal of those alone. They are made to order from scratch. I know it’s a simple flour tortilla, but whatever that sweet lady making them in the kitchen did was nothing shy of perfect. They were hot, soft, and flavorful. If you order something that doesn’t come with tortillas, order some anyway. They’re worth it. Another big win for this restaurant is the cups. They are huge. As someone who drinks a lot of liquids while eating, I appreciate this so much. I was never in need of a refill. The staff was super friendly and the service was great. I will warn that the lunch hour was crazy busy. I went at noon and by 12:10 there wasn’t a table available. And it looked that busy every day I was working up there. This is one of those restaurants I would always stop at if I were in the area. I’ll probably even drive up there for lunch just so my wife can experience it, too. If you’re in the area, stop in and support this local and delicious restaurant.
