Brought a satin bridesmaids dress over to get hemmed from the bottom, brought in from the side, and also pressed. I picked up my dress a few days later to find a long snag on it right in the front (on top of the fact it wasn’t even pressed). They “took it back” to “fix the snag” by “steaming it away” and press the dress again. That did not fix the issue. The guy blamed me by saying the brand new dress was actually worn before, that maybe it was a return from the store, and/or some of my jewelry got caught on it. They absolutely refused to take accountability or even apologize for damaging the dress. Despite my alterations being done well by the woman, at the end of the day, a brand new dress was damaged in their possession and the fact that they “tried to do everything” but apologize, is why I will never be using them again.
