Dr. Barker is very thorough about the examinations he does on the animals. I like this vet.

Veterinary Hospital Associates (VHA) has always been there for my pets, family and I for many years irregardless of changes in ownership. They have been caring and professional no matter the situation with our fur babies. Although COVID threw a wrench in everyone's lives - VHA did the best they could to attend to our fur babies. I highly recommend customers continue to utilize the services provided by this veterinary hospital.

We have had now three emergencies with two animals since the pandemic started. I’m told they’re down to one vet. I was told today to find another place to take my pets or go to Colorado Springs ER for care. Currently, we are on a call-back list to get our cat vaccinated. Not sure why they can’t keep vets at this clinic. They’ve all left! So have some of the girls who worked there for years.

A client for 18yrs . The new owners started off great . Lately with ever changing staff feeling more and more detached. I've been trying for weeks to get an appointment, no answering machine to leave messages or calls back ! Awfull . Tried emailing , no response. I'm done .

We love Hedgehogs! You can call (719)564-0330 to schedule an appointment. Hope we get to meet your little friend!
We routinely perform surgical mass removals; however, not all lipomas require surgical removal if they are not causing discomfort to your pet. We would be happy to meet with you to discuss your pets care. I would recommend calling (719)564-0330 to schedule a consultation and exam with a veterinarian to determine if surgical removal is the best option and to answer any other questions you may have. A sample may be taken with a needle in a minimally invasive test called a fine needle aspirate to determine what type of tumor your pet has (if this has not already been done) to see if surgery is the best choice.
Congratulations on your new family member! A lot of groomers in the area will trim cats nails. We would be happy to meet your kitten and discuss necessary vaccinations to protect your friend and of course trim it’s nails.
It depends on the age of your puppy, but our first puppy visit bundle includes an exam, a distemper-parvo combination vaccine, and an intestinal parasite screening. That bundle is $38.95. However, if your puppy is at least 10 weeks old, we also recommend doing the Bordetella vaccine, which is for kennel cough, and then at 14 weeks of age he/she will also be able to get a Rabies vaccine.
