I have lived at many locations around the country and I have never had better service than at Butler Electric. I would give them 6 stars if I could. They're responsive, mostly nice people, on time, and (as far as i can tell, being an electronics engineer) skilled at their jobs. Just wanted to say thanks to them for working in storms and other times when you wouldn't want to do it yourself. Oct. 2021-- I still think Butler Electric is one of the best I've seen in terms of responsive service and caring about the people they serve. It's only sad that all electric utilities can't be this good.

It’s nice to have a company who answers the phone and helps. Very friendly. Was concerned with a small company moving up here. But so far I think you guys are great. Even had a power outage and the phone was answered by a person. Keep up good work

Lady who helped me set my electric, water and sewer was great. Took 5 minutes to set everything up and I felt great right after. they do not offer gas. PSEG did for me

The best guess I've heard from usually reliable sources is several more days for Kinnelon, but that is not official in any way.
They have been using Nixie broadcast texts, you have to register for them. I don't recall the details, but I'm sure one of us does.
