Beautiful location! We’ve been through here many times and have always been impressed, so we decided to stay here with our 1 year old for his first camping trip. We couldn’t have been more disappointed. First, there was a fairly large wedding the first night there and they completely trashed the communal restroom facility. There was so much traffic, with no warnings at check in to avoid certain areas. We got around that and settled into our spot on the opposite side of the lake, where several campsites around us were pretty noisy with music and chatter. Most of this did die down by the 10pm quiet time, but not completely. The facilities on this side of the property were also in awful condition and needing some serious attention. All of the bear proof dumpsters were full and overflowing. Many campsites were completely full of trash, even with no campers at them. Clearly the sites are not being monitored before, during, or after anyones stays. We could mostly overlook these annoyances, but could not get over the overwhelming odor of marijuana. The park rules clearly stated no drug use, however, all we could smell all day was other visitors toking up. We were not able to enjoy any fresh mountain air during our visit. It was very annoying. Staff seemed very indifferent to any of the happenings around them and more worried about socializing with each other. This place just isn’t the same anymore. Very sad. We were so frustrated that we even packed up at 8 pm and left our trip early. Also, EVERYTHING is extremely over priced on the property.

The cabin was renovated tastefully and very comfortable. The only issue we had was the price was high. We forgot our oars for our kayak and asked to rent a set and they refused to rent to us stating we could rent a boat and oars for a price higher than other parks are charging. There were several boats AND oars that did not go into the water that day. I felt that they were being money hungry and not accommodating to their guests. It will be a long while before we return to their camp site

Good place for families and pets (even horses). The lake is beautiful and calm with tons of space for boats and kayaking. Lots of good camp sites and the cabins are really nice.

Such a great camp/resort!! The trees and wilderness are so peaceful, just keep food inside. The black bear was climbing around in the back of most of the trucks, we only saw it once though and found a paw print on our pickup. It was just such a great beautiful place!

Ours had sheets, blankets, pillows, tp, a sauce pan, frying pan, and a bunch of other random dishes/cutlery. No idea what or how many. Hot water was in short supply though.

On your web it says your able to pick a site for your tents. If possible three tents stay in the same space, just to be close to our family campground. Would they be billed together as a group, or pay separately ?

I think it's like 10 to $15 for each tent that you put up and it's like seven to eight dollars for each car

They have another number, got it from my credit card company when I was working on getting a refund. They don't answer that one either evidently. I'm out over $500.00! Maybe MasterCard can fix it.
