Great place to stay for a family getaway. Nice cabins with everything you need and the grounds are well taken care of. Lots of kayaks, float pads and whatnot to enjoy. Beds are pretty hard though so maybe bring a pad if that bothers you.

Wow! I can't say enough about Lake Darling Resort. The resort is fantastic. Dave and his team work hard to make your stay perfect. There are endless activities for everyone of all ages. The kids were non-stop for an entire week. The Villa was in perfect condition and a perfect fit for our family get together. . The resort is close to town so grabbing a forgotten item from the store doesn't take much time at all. I can't say enough about the staff here. They were always on top of everything and just made our vacation that much better. Everything was maintained to the highest of quality. We look forward to planning our return trip next year.

I almost hate to write such a great review in case Lake Darling Resort becomes too popular although the 5 star review is definitely warranted. The 4 bedroom cabins (we had 3 of them) were up to date, beautiful and had all the tools and amenities needed for time away. The staff, David in particular, were amazing and attentive. If you are considering a week away with a significant other or a group weekend, this is a resort you should absolutely consider! The photos online do not do it justice.
