I Had My Routine Mammogram screening Done with a Bone scan Done in May of this Year. My Dr has Ordes this Screening In March. It was a Screening. Women Well Check. Will they Billed my Insurance Company with The Wrong Codes. I Got a Bill in the Mail Today. August 3Oth. I have Great Insurance and my Regular Screening are Covered. Called my Insurance Company my Doctor Office and Smil. Gladis called back Saying That my Doctor Changes the Order. He did not. That I have a History. I do not. If this would have been a DX test. I Would Have Not Waited 3 months to have These Text Done. The Coding to my Insurance Company Should have Been A Screen. 100 dispute this Claim with my Insurance Company. Gladis Also Told me I never Received Test in the past Which I Know 100 💯 I Have .she was Rude and Didn't not Help me get this fixed. Never going Back to Smil.

For the past 5 years I had always gone to a different imaging company, as it just seemed that was where I was directed by my doctors. A friend suggested I try SMIL, and I can't thank her enough! I might have to drive a bit further, but it is so worth it! The office staff- whom are our first contact with when we arrive- have been the best! Warm, welcoming, and I feel they do care about me as a client. The atmosphere is also welcoming with lower lighting, and music playing softly. Technicians explain procedures (I have had MRIs, CT Scans), answer my questions, and are kind. The staff at SMIL still mask, and I so appreciate that. Also, very little wait time from the time I arrive for my appointment and when I am taken back for the procedure. I am so thankful to have found SMIL!

The staff for the most part is super helpful and kind, but there are some shady practices with their billing. At their Desert Ridge location when I paid for my ultrasound it showed up as a transaction for Southwest Airlines. At this location, I had a bill go straight to collections, they claim they sent bills in the mail but I never received anything, only a bill from a debt collector. I will ask my primary if I can go elsewhere should I require any more exams moving forward.

Not sure; they are sent to Dr. who ordered them. Mine was available the next day, but my Dr. sent me there and can access online.

Yes they are per appointment, I believe as I had one.
All x-rays are available when you walk in & there is always someone there to help if you need to schedule other exams
