Wonderful HW store, makes a great pit stop on the way to our mountain home. Finally had some time to explore, It's much bigger than I thought. Huge back area. My wife loves thier Nick knacks. We always find something we need.

This is a supply and demand kind of store. Being that they know they are the only hardware store in Oakdale, they mark up their prices. Overpriced items, very strict and stingy on returns, and not a good variety of items to choose from. As much as I would like to support my local business, they make it hard being so selfish with their prices and returns. Very stingy on military discounts as well. They only offer discounts on certain items. There is no way of telling which items the discounts apply to. You only will find that out at checkout which is a very inconvenience. Me being a Oakdale resident, I will not be shopping here anymore. I'll conduct my business at home depot, Lowes and Amazon for now on.

Getting the help needed in a timely manner despite the number of employees was difficult, at best. This was my first time back in this store in over a year, after having a less than satisfactory experience, and it may be another long while before I return. Drive to Turlock or Modesto where they have awesome staff and even offer awesome curbside pick-up.
