Providing care for those with memory issues is difficult. Rock Creek in Surprise makes that difficulty easier. My father had a traumatic brain injury while at work and fully dependent on others for his care. He lived at 3 facilities prior to coming to Rock Creek and Rock Creek is by far the best facility of them all. All of the employees show love and support and it is truly amazing. The facilities previous to Rock Creek left my father in the room all the time. Rock Creek brings him out for meals and other social events to associate with the other residents, which I believe has helped him to become happier and less lonely. I have also seem improvements in his condition, not previous seen before at the other care facilities. All of the staff is great, however, I must commend Genesis for her incredible customer service. She is always such a joy to speak with and is always upbeat and happy. Thanks for being awesome and always heping, Genesis!

We recommend Rock Creek Memory Care Center with all of our hearts. My dad was in residence at Rock Creek memory care facility and we have nothing but gratitude for all of the staff at Rock Creek for taking the best care possible of him for his last 5 months of his life. My family and I cannot say enough about the professional, thorough, empathetic and loving care that my dad, Jim, received at Rock Creek. We know that a major part of this success and positivity is because of the incredible administration staff, the careful hiring practices, the training, the respect shown by all, the longevity of service of each employee, and the knowledge of those who work there. Rock Creek guided Jim and our family through a painful and extremely difficult time in our lives and all of the staff will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We happily and gratefully recommend Rock Creek to anyone seeking solace and memory care for their loved ones. With warm sincere gratitude, Angie Kosnoski, Barb Bunger, and Pam Bakst

I recently placed my 87 year old father who suffered from dementia in Rock Creek. They were compassionate and caring to both my dad and my mom and I. Anytime we called to check on him the nurses spent a lot of time talking with us. Sadly, my dad passed away last week. The staff at Rock Creek was there to offer their support during a very difficult time for us. They are caring professionals who take great pride in what they do. I feel that what they do is more a calling than a job. God bless them all.

In the few short months my father was a resident he sustained a broken hip that required a hip replacement surgery and long term in patient physical therapy at another care center. He was also not given assistance while recovering in a wheelchair to get to the dining room. The staff actually said that pulling himself with the wall hand rail was his physical therapy. He also was refused assistance to use the restroom. That refusal caused him to fall and split his forehead open requiring many stitches. When I went to gather his belongings (because he was not going back)the Surprise Police threatened me with an order of protection and arrest for trespassing. The head administrator Stephanie lied about the instance to cover their rear ends. Don’t put your loved ones in this facility.

Great question, as our campus is almost complete. Rock Creek at The Park is memory care specific for residents suffering from Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases. But in the spring of 2019, we will open The Park at Surprise a 135-unit Signature Independent Living community next door.
Yes, Rock Creek at The Park is dedicated to the care of residents suffering from all types of dementia. A short list of services includes 24/7 onsite nursing, dressing and bathing, medication management, and daily structured activities. We also offer Support Groups for struggling loved ones and family members. Please contact us today to learn more about our community.
